Charity Cycle Rides by Mario the Plumber - Mario Tinge
My name is Mario Tinge, a keen sailor and cyclist. I am starting this fundraising campaign to raise as much funds as possible for the Dystonia
The reason being is that my very dear friend Paul Clarke is suffering from Dystonia. I met Paul for the first time in 2009 at Horning Sailing Club were we both sail. In 2011 we teamed up sailing a
Yeoman keelboat Y70 called Two C Sons on a weekle basis, also taking part in the annual sailing race called the 3 Rivers Race. Paul is a very kind and determined person always putting other people
first and late 2015 early 2016 his condition worsened to the extend that even sailing has become very difficult but we still manage 1 race a week.
The money raised will go to the Dystonia Society to provide help and care for Paul and people like him. I am determined to
raise as much money as possible to improve day to day life for Paul, so he can continue to go to work, continue to sail and teach sailing and enjoy familey life as normal as possible.
Currently I have entered in the following events:
- 60 mile ride on Sunday 16th July starting and finishing in Norwich, Norfolk
- 46 mile ride on Sunday 30th July starting in The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London
- 75 mile ride on Sunday 20th August Tour of The Broads starting in Hoveton Hall, Hoveton, Norfolk.
- 100 mile ride on Sunday 17th September Tour of Norfolk starting in Norwich, Norfolk.
